The Farm to Freedom Fund is planting seeds for a future where food justice, sustainability, and community empowerment thrive. Through this initiative, Culturelle Collective supports Black and Indigenous farmers, ensuring access to land, resources, and education.
Support the Farm to Freedom Fund today & help build a future where our communities don’t just survive, but thrive.
Fannie Lou Hamer built the Freedom Farm Cooperative in 1969 because she knew that survival wasn’t enough—real freedom requires resources, land, and power. Today, Culturelle Collective continues this mission through the Farm to Freedom Fund, ensuring Black artists and cultural workers have access to the tools they need to thrive.
Hamer’s farm gave Black families land, food, and economic independence in the face of systemic barriers. We’re cultivating the same spirit—through creativity, education, and community-driven empowerment.
Because whether it’s land or culture, ownership is power.
